What we do?

Youth for Christ reaches out to young people where ever they are. Most of the work Youth for Christ is doing is done in schools. Work also includes clubs (gathering of young people in schools or at other places where discipleship is done), sports ministry, life skills, drop-in centre (coffee bar), Youth Alpha, Follow-up Bible studies, leadership training for prefects, youth prayer meetings, peer-to-peer outreaches, social involvement (Day Care Centre for Orphan and Vulnerable children, handing out blankets, etc.), School of the Blind in Mochudi, camps (Summer Camp and Youth Week South Africa) and much more.

Kgatleng Centre

Maruping Kolobe is the Centre Director. The main town is Mochudi. That is also where the Kgatleng office is situated. They work mainly in schools, do life skills, outreaches, drop-in centre on Saturdays at the office, children’s clubs all over Mochudi, girls clubs, all night prayer meetings to name a few. Young people from Mochudi will also attend the Roar Summer Camp held in Gaborone each year.

Gaborone Centre

Em Liddiard is the Centre Director. They have a lot of work all over Gaborone. They work in the schools, university, Prayer Movement (Inferno), mentoring programme, a radio programme on a commercial station to name a few. They also send 160 young people to the Youth Week Camp in South Africa in January. This is a yearly highlight. The Roar Summer Camp takes place yearly in Gaborone in December.
